Floating Slab House

The purpose of this feasibility study was to offer our clients a fresh perspective on how their existing rear extension could be remodelled and reinvented to better meet their evolving needs. Initially, the space did not fully align with their vision for a brighter, more open, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Our goal was to explore ways to reconfigure the layout, improve the flow, and enhance the overall functionality while staying within the constraints of local planning regulations.

Through careful analysis, we identified key areas where the design could be transformed to provide more light, space, and a modern feel. We explored various configurations, focusing on how natural light could be maximized, how the extension could open up to the garden, and how the materials and finishes could be updated to create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. The goal was to create a space that not only fulfilled the clients' aesthetic desires but also increased the property's value by improving its usability and appeal.

The feasibility study provided the clients with a clear understanding of the possibilities for their property, offering them confidence that the proposed changes could be achieved within the planning guidelines. It demonstrated how a thoughtful remodel could breathe new life into the extension while making a meaningful impact on their home and its future potential.
