Black Box Loft is a reinterpretation of the normal hierarchy of houses where windows decrease in size as the building height increases. Here the whole loft room is opened up to views across Chiswick with a minimalist balcony and bifold doors. The black box of the extension sits suspended between two brick piers, contrasting the original house and the other dormers on the block.
